Our riad
Welcome to Riad Merzouga Dunes
Riad Merzouga Dunes sits in the small village of Ksar Tabomiat, on the quiet edge of Merzouga where the Sahara Desert begins. From here the great sand sea of Erg Chebbi rises just beyond the palms, changing colour through the day.
We are a locally run riad, and hospitality here is simple and sincere: a glass of mint tea when you arrive, comfortable rooms to rest in, a swimming pool for hot afternoons and a terrace for watching the stars.
Because we live here, we also help guests experience the desert properly — from sunset camel treks and nights in camp to 4×4 days exploring the villages and landscapes beyond the dunes.
